CJC-1295 with Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) is a long-acting GHRH analogue engineered to bind covalently to circulating albumin via a lysine-maleimidopropionamide linkage, dramatically extending its plasma half-life to approximately 6–8 days. This extended duration enables sustained elevation of growth hormone and IGF-1 levels with less frequent administration compared to the no-DAC version. It is used in research models where continuous GH axis stimulation is the goal, rather than pulsatile mimicry. The DAC technology was developed specifically to overcome the short half-life limitations of native GHRH.
